The Bank Ombudsmann

The services of the Bank Ombudsman as a neutral and cost-free mediator are available to customers of banks domiciled in Liechtenstein. The Bank Ombudsman deals with specific complaints brought by customers against banks in Liechtenstein.

An essential precondition for a functioning and recognised ombudsman’s office lies in its independence from any possibly involved banks. By affiliating the Bank Ombudsman to the foundation ICQM, account has been taken of this basic requirement.

Dr. Peter Wolff, Attorney-at-Law in Vaduz, took up the office of Bank Ombudsman at the beginning of April 2005.
